      Compensation

      The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

      Expected Minimum Pay Rate

      USD $101,300.00/Yr.

      Expected Maximum Pay Rate

      USD $139,325.00/Yr.

      Responsibilities

      As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you are responsible for operationalizing software and systems products and for delivering automated processes that support the ability of IT to scale in support of the Company’s growth and change. The role’s purpose is to build resilient, reliable and scalable database, web and API infrastructure. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for the availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response, among other things, of the platforms and services that the company runs and owns. This job classification requires foundational knowledge and familiarity with applications, programming and database administration.

      • You will supply foundational knowledge to operationalize software/systems engineering development in a DevOps team environment and in the design of reliable, scalable, and observable distributed systems in the Data Platforms and Infrastructure space.
      • You will provide input in scaling the product design architecture to support growth in IT development while keeping systems fast and reliable.
      • You will contribute to the development and implementation to expand infrastructure and systems capacity across multiple platforms.
      • You will implement monitoring and alerting tools that can keep track of both system-level and business-level performance and ensure that service disruptions are minimized.
      • You will ensure that everything that goes to production from software or systems engineering complies with a set of general requirements like diagrams, runbooks, scripts or other methods for troubleshooting and resolving service disruptions, dependencies of other services, monitoring and logging plans, backups and possible high availability setups.
      • You will provide methods to expand the configuration and container management infrastructure to enable rapid deployment of new services.
      • You will collaborate with security engineering to perform security audits and assist in making recommendations/improvements to keep IT systems secure.

      Preferred

      • BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science or related subject or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to data center or public cloud administration or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
      • Linux/Windows troubleshooting and administration
      • CI/CD principles with Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI or similar tools
      • IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform
      • Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or similar tool sets
      • Familiarity with operational tools such as Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie, etc.
      • Demonstrated experience with alerting and monitoring platforms: Solarwinds, Prometheus, Grafana
      • Demonstrated experience with containerization
      • Scripting: PowerShell, Python, bash, etc

      Nice To Have

      • Kubernetes using helm for release management

      • Database familiarity (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
      • SAP/HANA in Azure
      • Public cloud (Azure Preferred)
